Niagara Falls

Our parents abandoned us one weekend in June to visit this falling place. My mom wanted to share a few of the pictures.

Don't worry, I will come back with a more exciting post this weekend - with pictures of US in it!! And I will try hard to get around to visit everyone and leave comments too.

OK, we're all caught up. I love the photos of you both (especially the "secret") and the pug "mommy" video made us squee. we had to watch it three times!

Thank you for the kind words and post of welcome for our little Baby Joel aka #2. We are so happy to have him home with us, when he isn't screaming.

Hi, Clover & Chewy...

What a great place...

Looks like a little too much water for me, though...

Hello Clover! I used the brand Soft n Crafty (from Jo-Ann Fabric) high loft batting for the sides of the bed. It's a long quilting batting that I cut into strips, placed it in between the fabric for the sides and sewed it up. I varied from the instructions on this tutorial: http://prettylittlethings.typepad.com/lori_marie/2007/08/doggie-or-kitty.html
I also added a cushion to place inside the bed for easy washing and more softness. I just used the pattern I made for the bottom of the bed for the cushion insert. For the stuffing I opened up an old decorative pillow I'd never use again and used that stuffing. Good luck!

Isn't it pretty! Did you go on the Lady of the Mist(?) boat tour? :)
I went a few years ago when I was staying with my grandparents in Acton. We also went to a African Safari while I was there. lol

pretty pictures! Did your parents come over to the US side too? Mom always wanted to see it from the canadian side. Last time she went, she didn't have canadian visa so only daddy went across the border and mommy was totally bummed out.
