Thanks for your concern about my cone. I keep forgetting to give you an update about it. First of all, I really do like wearing it. I love having a place to rest my head, a place to store my toys, a shield against Chewy - he likes licking my face, and I can also scoop snow in the backyard. So I am still wearing the cone since I got my second corneal ulcer. This one was a bit more stubborn to heal. I think it is actually all healed now, but (of course) allergy season seems to be here, so I am starting to itch, and my parents are paranoid that I will scratch my eyeball again! We will be going to the vet soon for our regular spring visit, and we'll get the okay from the vet before the cone comes off.
Tomorrow is a special day - it's Chewy's (made up but we think close to the actual date) barkday!!

I never realized there were so many benefits to wearing a cone either! Do they make them for humans because I could use a place to rest my head and it would be great to use a cone instead of a shovel when the snow comes! Hee-hee! Seriously though, I hope you heal quickly so that you can be cone-free!
